Concerto

In this activity, your team takes on the challenge of playing one of the most beautiful, yet toughest instruments in the world, the violin. The activity starts with the facilitator breaking down this complex task into bite sized chunks of information that help them learn the basics of playing this instrument. They then learn parts to a classical piece of music and surprise themselves at the end of the activity by performing a 17th century piece by Mozart together as a group.

Concerto, demonstrates the ability of achieving the seemingly impossible. It spotlights individual ability and contribution to the larger group through focussed effort and practice. As a musical activity, it also releases a strong sense of achievement in participants when they put up the final concert.

The Drum Circle

Raceday

Teams receive a kit with the required material to construct a Formula 1 car, in a tight timeline and with minimal instruction. They also need to brand their cars within specific guidelines, making them stand out on the racetrack. A qualifier round determines their positions and then, they're off! They race on the track by pedaling their cars, and switch drivers and run maintenance checks at the pitstop. The first 3 to finish the race take winning positions and pop a bubbly (optional) to celebrate!

This activity challenges teams to optimize on their skills, work within tight timelines and rules, and bring in creativity without affecting the performance of their car on the track. During the race, the high competitive energy combined with planning how to catch up and stay ahead puts their resource management skills in the spotlight.

Align is a highly customizable paper trail hunt that can be made to work in any location of your choice. This activity uses problem-solving skills to get your teams to align with each other. Based on a ‘treasure-hunt’ theme, participants are grouped into several teams and will embark on a physical hunt to receive clues and solve puzzles. Through the course of the activity, they will find it necessary to collaborate with each other in order to complete the final assignment.

Triggernometry

Triggernometry pairs creativity and innovation with efficiency and time management. In this indoor table-top activity challenge, teams are provided with a kit of common resources. The goal is to build a basic, self-running Rube Goldberg Machine within a limited amount of time. In an extended round of the activity (optional), the individual machines need to be connected to create a continuous flow across all of them.

In this activity, participants in each team will have to build consensus while trying to manage time, resources and ideas effectively. In the optional extended round, teams need to demonstrate mental agility and adapt their machines to new goals at short notice. This activity concludes with a powerful debrief on interconnectivity through a series of cause and effect relationships.

Feel-Harmonic

Ever wondered how orchestras are always perfectly in sync? Wonder no more with Feel Harmonic, our uplifting musical experience. Over three hours, we brief and divide your team into sections of the orchestra. Each section is taught to play an instrument (Violin, Recorder /Flute, Harmonica) or to sing. Once they’re ready, we bring them back together for the final pre-performance practice and the finale.

Ukenomics

Having its origins in Hawaii, the ukulele is the happiest sounding instrument and is normally associated with beach and island life. Our session gets your team to learn to play this instrument as a collective.  We split the team into smaller groups, each with a defined role and chord to play with respect to the song. They all go through the basics of how to hold the instrument, timing and strumming. We then get them to learn to play a tune.

Wheels of Joy is a ‘give back’ activity that you can do with your team. At the start the team will receive some tasks to perform. Through the course of the activity the team will collect parts of a bicycle as they complete each of these tasks. At the end of the activity, a charity of your choice will be gifted these cycles on behalf of your company.

The Big Stickture

In this collective art activity, teams will each work on their respective canvases with a standard set of stickers and assorted art materials, to produce individual pieces as per a specific plan. The activity quickly turns collaborative, as the teams realize the need to work with each other in order to complete the larger piece of visual art. The activity ends with a big reveal of the final multi-canvas mural the team has put together.

The Grand Scheme

Prior to the event an artwork is designed that reflects your key values. For the event, each team has two canvases - one pre-sketched and one blank. Working with design information, each team networks with others to first sketch and then paint their canvases. They soon realise that they must collaborate with teams on all sides of their canvas in order for the artwork to have continuity.

Collaboration, networking and situational leadership form the crux of the activity. Once all canvases are complete, the artwork is assembled and the group is brought back into the room for the reveal.

Go For Glory

The Olympic games showcased the essence of competitive sport - grit, guts and glory. Theming the activity as the Olympics will provide an opportunity for the participants to relive some thrilling moments through a series of competitive and unconventional challenges! 5 teams with up to 40 members per team will earn points participating in these new challenges spread across the property. To keep the buzz going, scores will be pinned on to a scoreboard and be announced at regular intervals pushing teams to 'Go for Glory'!

The competition will certainly heat up, the venue will add to the spirited atmosphere and the highly customized games will ensure there is plenty to fight for, with teams gunning for that prestigious gold medal! In the end, the top 3 teams earn their respective gold, silver and bronze medals and just like in the Olympics are handed off in a grand fashion.
